The Baker Institute is one of Heartbeat Victoria’s partnership communities working on heart disease. The Baker is looking for people to act as consumer informers to promote its research and donations appeal.
In order to improve the outcomes and diagnosis of heart disease, it needs more media coverage, so that the public better understands the difficulties and trials faced in this lifelong challenge.
Heartbeat Victoria is seeking volunteers from its branches and the wider community to help put heart disease on the map and to increase the donations for valuable research. Such stories will spread the word about heart disease and educate the community.
Your participation will promote Heartbeat Victoria and provide support for The Baker and its research. You will be supported by Heartbeat Victoria and the staff at the Baker to make this a positive experience.
