Guest Speaker
Our guest speaker at this year’s Annual General Meeting will be Professor Jennifer Irvine, Board member and Lecturer in Pharmacology at Monash University. In her presentation, “Second, Third and Fourth Chances”, Jen will share her lived experience of heart disease.
Professor Irvine is a Lecturer in Pharmacology at Monash University, with a background in cardiovascular research at the Baker Institute. She also has lived experience of heart disease, having survived three heart attacks caused by spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD), giving her a unique perspective on the challenges of living with a cardiac condition.
